Mary Kay Sales Director, Dr. Felicia Scott and consultant Shirley Love have aspirations of making a difference in the lives of women. If you listen to Dr. Scott's voicemail message, you'll hear her say that she makes a difference in the lives of women “one face at a time.” But the pair wanted to do something on a larger scale and also bring awareness to The Mary Kay Foundation. After a few conversations, the idea to host a charity golf tournament seemed the perfect way to help reach their goal. They would help women fighting cancer and help end domestic violence by donating a portion of the event's proceeds to The Foundation that supports both of these initiatives. As excited as The Women of FAVOR unit are about this event, they have reached out to fellow Mary Kay consultants across the area to join them. The goal is to bring as many consultants together on this one day in support of The Foundation that supports women. National directors have even been invited to participate. The Pink Studio (the unit's meeting place) is all abuzz about this event and are confident that their efforts will result in the fulfillment of Dr. Scott and Love's goal of making a difference in the lives of women and their families.
